Forlifts are no doubt, an important part of the construction industry and buying the right type is extremely important as it directly affects the efficiency and productivity of your company. There are many different things that you must consider when buying a forklift and it is important that you do wide research on all types of forklifts to get familiar with them. Beginning from what is the perfect height that you should be using, you have to make sure that this equipment is just perfectly suitable for your company to carry out all the major operations. Let it be clear that if you are buying a new forklift, it would obviously come along with an expensive price tag and therefore it's your significant investment, so be sure that you consider all the factors before buying it. Another important thing to discuss here is that it is common to see people buying new forklifts without any research, as a result of which they sell them very quickly later. Even if you have not used it, the equipment will be labelled as used and therefore, the price will be significantly reduced! So why not buy the right one in the first place?
Consider the following factors before buying a forklift.
The Environment
Your business will directly affect the type of forklift that you will be using this is mainly because of the fact that you have to pick the tires and also the fuel type accordingly. You must take your working environment into consideration as well and especially focus on the surface that is present inside the working environment so that you pick the tires accordingly. Let it be clear that there are different categories of forklifts for smooth and rough surfaces. You must also consider whether you are aiming to work with the forklift indoors and outdoor and how many hours a day are you intending to use it. You must ask all of these questions to yourself as their answers will eventually gather to make you choose the right forklift. If you are someone who wants to know more about how forklifts work, you can a forklift manual from the Caterpillar service manuals.
The Height
You have to check the height requirements of your work zone. If you are making up your mind to buy one, you must check what is the typical lift height in your area? It is also important to measure the highest possible point to which you are expecting your forklift to reach. Another important aspect is to check the height restriction, are there any low hanging lights that might be a problem for you? Most people also want their forklifts to reach underneath a height structure which is fixed and for that, one should consider the collapsed height of mast.
Consider Load Size
Your lift requirements are most important to consider and in the end, everything will come down to them. You can’t buy a forklift if you don’t know what is the minimum to the maximum amount of weight that you want it to be working with on daily basis. It is totally useless to get a forklift that doesn’t even come in the category of your requirements. There are a few things that you should be looking at to check if the forklift you are considering is the right one.
â A rough estimate of the highest possible weight that you work with.
â The overall width of your various loads
â The average load weight
What people do not know is, that there are many different attachments available online that you can purchase for your forklifts. What these attachments do is, aid you in lifting more weight. Attachments such as paper roll clamps and carton clams are easily available online at the most affordable rates.
Type of Fuel
Mainly there are the basic three types of fuel options for all the forklifts from around the world. These options are electric, gas and diesel. Talking about electric forklifts, they are pretty costly but the best part about them is that they consume a much lesser amount of fuel as compared to the other two options. Another best thing about them is that they are environment friendly as they do not at all produce any types of emissions that could potentially harm the environment, and that is the reason why people love to work with them indoors. Talking about gas and diesel forklifts, although they consume a much larger amount of fuel as compared with electrical ones and they do produce emissions as well, these forklifts have a much greater capacity for lifting high loads, and the best part of using them is that they can move much faster which means you can your work much quicker. Diesel and gas forklifts are mostly used outdoors.
Choosing the Right Company
Once you have decided to get a forklift, it is extremely important for you to choose the right company, mainly because of the fact that your forklift is basically your investment and you can’t be just buying it from a random unknown company. You must do thorough research online, take recommendations from friends and family, and read online reviews on different websites to decide which company is better and sells the best construction equipment.

Milton Keynes, UK/12 July 2022: Triumph has announced the completion of its TE-1 electric motorcycle development project, powered by Scalable Integrated Modular Inverter (SIMI) technology from Helix.
During rolling road and track trials, the TE-1’s electric powertrain delivered 130kW (177PS/175bhp) peak power, for a 0-60mph time of 3.6 seconds and 0-100mph in 6.2 seconds. It also achieved a 100-mile range, based on live testing and official projections.
The high power density that characterises Helix electric powertrains contributed to making the TE-1 prototype as much as 25% lighter than comparable electric motorcycles and achieving its outstanding power-to-weight ratio.
Integral Powertrain Limited’s e-Drive division developed the Scalable Integrated Motor and Inverter (SIMI) in close cooperation with Triumph from 2018. On 4 July 2022, the company relaunched its electric powertrain engineering and manufacturing capability under the Helix brand. Helix offers unique Scalable Core Technology across three Product Levels, while advanced product development, epitomised by the Scalable Integrated Motor and Inverter, is delivered by its X-Division.
Andrew Cross, Helix Chief Technology Manager, said: “We’re delighted to see the final TE-1 motorcycle testing phase completed and further validation of the performance and efficiency of our Scalable Integrated Modular Inverter.
“In its TE-1 application, the motor achieved peak and continuous power densities of 13kW/kg and 9kW/kg respectively; 60% higher than Advanced Propulsion Centre technology roadmap targets for 2025. All this was achieved using materials and processes compatible with volume automotive production and using a motor scalability concept that provided a springboard to our Scalable Core Technology, providing similar performance levels at much greater manufacturing scale than previously possible.
“We’re really proud to have been a key part of this exciting project, which is a landmark for electric motorcycles and British industry.”

- The Panigale family will be protagonist at World Ducati Week 2022 with 21 Ducati riders competing in the "Lenovo Race of Champions" aboard the Panigale V4 and Panigale V2
Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 11 July 2022 – Ducati Panigale V4 continues its evolution for Model Year 2023 with the introduction of a series of electronic improvements that make the bike even easier and more intuitive for riders of all levels.
The Panigale family is the maximum expression of the continuous exchange of information and technologies from the world of racing to production motorcycles and with the 2023 version of the Panigale V4 continues on its annual improvement path, exactly the same as with the Ducati Corse prototypes.
The Panigale V4 project fully represents the uniqueness of a brand that works to ensure that everything designed for racing can then be transferred to motorcycles intended for enthusiasts.
With the 2022 model, the Panigale V4 has made the most significant evolution since the year of its launch with improvements that affects every aspect of the bike: aerodynamics, ergonomics, engine, chassis and electronics (link to the complete press kit here).
On the 2023 versions of the Panigale V4, Panigale V4 S and Panigale V4 SP2, the step forward takes the form of the adoption of an updated electronic package, capable of further increasing the riding feeling and performances on the racetrack.
To improve stability, precision and directionality during braking and cornering, and to allow the rider to define with greater precision the best electronic set-up on each circuit, the Panigale V4 2023 receives the new Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO 2 software, which features a different gear-by-gear calibration on each of the three selectable levels. The new strategy has been developed to optimize engine brake intensity according to the load on the rear wheel. In the first stage of braking, when there is little load on the rear tyre, the EBC EVO 2 provides less engine brake, which increases as you approach the centre of the curve: the moment in which the intervention of the engine brake contributes the most to slowing down the bike and tightening the line. Thanks to this strategy, which ensures a more balanced intervention of engine brake control in any riding phase, the system reduces rear wheel lockup in the most demanding braking situations, thus improving stability and precision in the cornering phase.
The Panigale V4 2023 also receives a new strategy for the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), improving gearshift fluidity at every degree of throttle opening, both partial and full, handling the two different situations differently.
When shifting at partial gas, where the system previously cut the injection, now the effect is pursued by retarding the ignition timing, thus smoothing out the shifting in road use thanks to the absence of any engine cut-off. When shifting with a completely open throttle, a situation typical of the racetrack, the strategy continues to employ an injection cut, but the torque restitution phase has been refined, guaranteeing more stability to the bike and a more homogeneous and therefore more efficient thrust, benefitting lap time.
In addition to these changes there is a new strategy for the cooling fan, capable of offering better management of operating temperatures and greater thermal comfort for the rider already at speeds typical of road use. This latest update also reduces the typical heat build-up at the end of track sessions.
The updates for 2023 are complemented by a refinement of the Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ride by Wire strategies. The former has evolved to make the action of traction control even more accurate as a function of lean angle, while the latter improves the connection between the torque requested by the rider and the torque actually delivered. These improvements follow the Ducati philosophy of constant product development, ensuring regular evolution to always offer the best level of performance, usability and comfort.
These updates, available on all Panigale V4, V4 S and V4 SP2 2023 models, will also be available to all owners of Panigale V4, Panigale V4 S and Panigale V4 SP2 2022 by means of a simple intervention that can be performed at a Ducati Service starting from the end of July 2022.
The Panigale V4 is a bike that performs just as well in the hands of professionals as it is rewarding for amateurs and is frequently used by Ducati Corse riders during their training sessions. It is no coincidence that this bike will be the protagonist together with the Panigale V2 of the "Lenovo Race of Champions", which will be held on Saturday 23 July as part of the World Ducati Week 2022 and will see 21 Ducati riders from the MotoGP and Superbike championships compete at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

Everyone knows that riding a motorcycle is a rather dangerous sport. It involves a lot of risks, yet millions of people all around the world are obsessed with this sport. Hardly anyone can blame them as riding a motorcycle is a thrilling adventure that always leads to much fun.
This is perhaps one of the best ways to feel free and unbound. However, learning how to ride a motorcycle can be a rather dangerous venture. Not everyone will be risky enough to actually start. Is it possible to address these fears without necessarily getting on the bike? Today we are ranking the best motorcycle games and reviewing whether it is possible to learn through simulators.
Gaming and Learning
Is there anything in common between riding a motorcycle and enjoying online games? Believe it or not, both activities are not only thrilling but also risky and entertaining. Besides, this sport has gained a lot of followers over the years. Therefore, many game providers are only glad to use this popularity to develop their titles. Consequently, you have a proper selection of different simulators and other games explicitly centered around motorcycles and the culture around them.
Reel Thunder
It is evident that riding a motorcycle is a rather responsible occupation since your and other people's lives depend on your actions. Responsible risk-taking is a lifestyle, after all. The selection of online motorcycle games is also quite responsible since you can lose your money, so when choosing the best online game at any online casino, give preference to the no deposit casino, which will help you save. Even the gambling industry doesn't shy away from using motorcycles as one of their prominent features. So if you're a fan of both gambling and riding motorcycles, Reel Thunder is a good common ground for players. After all, both sports use a lot of risk-taking and bravery to enjoy them.
Driveclub Bike
We will start our list with Driveclub Bikes. This game was released back in 2015. It also focuses specifically on riding bikes from a first perspective. The gameplay itself is rather simple. However, you are getting several unique events and even challenges. We can definitely say that this game is one of the best simulators out there. Once you understand the basics, you are quick to dive into the settings and unique features. The best part, however, is the ability to see the world of the game from the first-person perspective. Additionally, there are more than 40 different races for you to enjoy. Overall, it is a well-integrated addition to the previous game. However, it will take some time to get used to riding an online bike.
Ride 2
Ride 2 is another driving simulator on our list. It is a relatively popular console game that offers you a large selection of different bikes that are not that expensive compared to other motorcycle games. The best part of this game is the physics element. The creators are aware of what they're doing and how to make players believe that they're actually riding a motorcycle. The selection of motorbikes is also impressive. You get around 170 different recognizable models, depending on your preferences. Some of them are new; others follow the retro style. So you can choose a design according to your aesthetics.
MotoGP 17
The last game on our list is yet another motorcycle racing video game. It may not feature the best gameplay or physics, yet it is perhaps one of the most entertaining ones on our list. You can even become a manager over your own team to spice up the actual races. With that said, we would not recommend it as our top choice. Some of the features and even the graphics may seem slightly outdated compared to other motorcycle games we have discussed today. This one feels more like an actual game and not a simulator.
Final Thoughts
Let's wrap up what we have learned today. There are dozens of different simulators that will allow you to feel as if you're riding a motorcycle or racing. Some of them have exquisite graphics with a great choice of bikes and over 30 different tracks. If you are a fan of motorcycles, they are definitely ideal for you, balancing quality with pricing. However, they are not exactly meant for learning. You can get the hang of it, surely. But they are still more appropriate for entertainment than real learning.
