Vida Aventuras guides, Duncan and Nick specialise in Spain and Portugal (Iberia) and have been touring there for over 40 years making many friends and finding the hidden gems of the country. Fantastic roads, mountain ranges, gorges, castles, cathedrals, wildlife, wine, tapas, wildlife, high octane thrills, and chilled-out rides... The list is truly endless. We will ask all interested participants to fill in and return our questionnaire and after further discussions, an expert guide will design and price your tour. This puts you in control of the sorts of things you do each day, the type of accommodation, distance and time spent travelling, and the regions visited. We want you to have an adventure that is unique to you. How are the tours priced? From the Tour Itinerary, we calculate our costs of; fuel, accommodation, food, and daily guiding fee. This principal cost is then divided by the number of participants to give the individual fee. We do not make any extra income by receiving commissions from any hotel or venue. If there is a discount available for a group booking the savings will be passed directly to you! You are responsible for your own expenses. Our tours are competitively priced against the normal ‘packaged’ tours BUT ours are tailored to you and your abilities and interests. Example guided tour price - 10 days covering between 1,000-1,500 miles. Great roads and scenery, food and hotels. At least one ‘rest day’ in an interesting small city or town. £800 - £1,200. Daily mileage is unlikely to exceed 150 miles and will normally be between 100 and 120 miles. We will travel the back roads with plenty of stops for refreshments or visit sites of interest in small villages or towns off the beaten track. The tour outlines are often themed to provide that extra experience. ‘Five Eagles’ - We will try and spot all five species of Iberian Eagle during the tour | ‘Saints and Sinners’ - historical characters associated with locations we visit.
