Visit the National BikeSafe Motorcycle show June 12th & 13th
The 2010 National BikeSafe Motorcycle Show sponsored by the motorcycle industry's campaign 'Get On' gets underway at Sheffield Arena on Saturday 12 June 2010.
The free event will bring together the best of the motorcycle industry as the National BikeSafe Motorcycle Show comes to the north of England for the first time.
The National BikeSafe Motorcycle Show offers something for all everyone and is a fun day families, friends, couples and anyone who is interested in bikes, even if they don't have a licence. Attractions already confirmed include stunt rider Dave Coates, the Extreme Globe riders, international trials champion Steve Colley and Ady Smith's KTM off-road experience.
There will also be the opportunity for every rider to take a free 45-minute ride-out with an advanced police motorcyclist. All riders need to do is come along prepared to ride and bring with them all parts of their motorcycle licence and insurance documents.
There is also the chance for people to take a ride-out on a manufacturer's bike. Manufacturers already confirmed include Honda, Yamaha, BMW, Kawasaki and Triumph.
Riders will need a credit card in order to cover any refundable deposit requested by the manufacturer.
As main sponsors of the show the Get On team will be providing the opportunity for visitors who have never ridden before or who are coming back to riding to have a go in a safe and secure area in the presence of fully qualified instructors.
