A family run pub, close to the centre of the beautiful market town of Congleton in Cheshire, with the friendliest of atmospheres and a genuine welcome from Barbara, Graham and staff.
Serving home-made food at very reasonable prices, where the menu includes various starters, burgers, steaks, pies, baguettes, New York Chicken, Roast of the day and a great two course special... Leave room for yummy deserts such as Sticky Ginger Sponge, Apple Pie, Cheshire Farm ice-cream and/or a Hot chocolate fudge cake! Dine indoors or 'al fresco' in the gardens.
Enjoy a selection of real ales, in the large beer gardens at the front and rear of the pub, which is home to the Buglawton Bear, an impressive bear carved by the European chainsaw carving champion.
Also the meeting place of the Beartown Bikers Club, Wyche Classic Motorbike Club and Congleton Motorbike & Trials Riders Club.
Open all day from noon. Five pitch caravan site at the rear. Large car park.
