  1. Christmas Toy Run & Carol Service - Ace Cafe

    Sunday 15th December

    Depart: 10.30am

    The cafes annual Christmas Toy Run will be leaving at 10.30am on Sunday 15th December to visit and drop off presents to the children's wards at two (TBC) London hospitals).  

    As well as being grateful for anything that you’d like to donate for ages 3- 11, the toys always asked for are:

    LEGO sets

    Arts and crafts sets

    Barbies

    Spider-Man toys

    Cars and planes

    Please bring gifts unwrapped

    Because of allergies hospitals advise against stuffed toys and sweets - the nursing staff however may appreciate some sweet treats!

    On returning to the cafe, there will be prizes for the "Best Dressed Bike" and the "Best Dressed Rider" - and a hot cuppa.

    NB: On the morning of the run, all elves, reindeer, Santa’s, snowmen and pixies etc. are asked to please check in at the cafe with “Toy Run Ron”.

    Later the same day, Sunday 15th December at 7pm, why not join us for hot mince pies at the cafe's annual candlelit Christmas Carol Service!

  2. Ace At Intermot 2024!

    Ace Cafe London is delighted to be able to confirm attendance at Intermot, the prestigious event packed bike show making its eagerly awaited return in Cologne from 5th – 8th December 2024.

    With everything for those who love the world of motorised two-wheels, from petrol engines to electric rides, and e-bikes to sports n’ tourers - whether you’re a rookie or experienced on two wheels, there’s plenty to discover and enjoy at Intermot 2024.

    Together with stand and display, at Intermot this year the Ace celebrates not only the recent 30th annual Ace Cafe Reunion, and 60th anniversary of the release in 1964 of the film "The Leather Boys", which featured the cafe and many of its then patrons and their bikes, as well as the 86th Anniversary of the cafe having originally opened in 1938, the 27th anniversary of “Ace Corner” opening on Sundays in 1997 for a “View & Brew”, and the 23rd anniversary of the cafe having fully re-opened in 2001!

  3. Red Oktober – Eastern Bloc Vehicle Meet

    Ace Cafe London’s annual “Red Oktober – Eastern Bloc Vehicle Meet Special” includes teaming up with the IFA Club, the UK home of Eastern Bloc vehicles. Many of these only became familiar in UK after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and German unification in 1990!

    From Lada, Skoda, Tatra, Trabant, Volga, Wartburg, Zastava, Zaporozhets, Zil, and Multicar, to the two-wheelers from Simson mopeds to Cossack, CZ, DKW, Dnepr, Jawa, Junak, MZ, and Ural motorbikes; the Ace welcomes all who have an interest in the eclectic vehicles produced behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War period.

    Ace Cafe London teams up with the prestigious British watchmaker Bremont (to provide Ace Cafe Tea) at their Manufacturing & Technology Centre, known as "The Wing" outside Henley-on-Thames, for a special “Bikes & Coffee” event.

     Saturday 21st September (9-12am) including  Ace Cafe stand ,and an exclusive opportunity to experience the extensive watchmaking facilities while browsing the remarkable range of hand crafted Bremont watches.
     
    Whether classic or modern, this unique collaboration of two true British icons, in the heart of the Chiltern Valley (an hour’s ride west of the Ace) is open to all bikes:
