To cover the KTM 890 Adventure's broad range of use, Touratech offers an extensive selection of accessories. This selection includes luggage systems, protectors, ergonomically designed parts and lots of practical accessories. Luggage systems For transporting luggage, there is the tried and tested pannier rack made of robust 18 mm stainless steel tubing, which has been perfectly adapted to the geometry of the 890. The rack - available with an electro-polished or black-coated surface - can be fitted with the complete range of ZEGA aluminium panniers. This clever, specially designed system fits tightly around the rear silencer, making particularly efficient use of the space available at the rear and saving on overall width. A topcase rack and luggage plates are also available for securely lashing a luggage roll. In addition, there is a choice of numerous soft luggage items including three model-specific tank bags and a range of other bags. Protectors Of course, robust protector equipment is an absolute must on a meaty enduro like the KTM 790 Adventure. The three-piece Rallye Evo engine guard is designed for tough use. It consists of an extra-robust Skid Plate made of canted aluminium and hydro-formed side panels that hug the engine tightly with their complex three-dimensional design. If you want to continue using the standard KTM engine guard, Touratech offers a Hard Part for reinforcement. A strong bracket made of 25 mm stainless steel tube is responsible for protecting the fairing and the tank. The brand new Defensa hand protectors are, of course, also available for the 890. Thanks to diverse configurations, they can be perfectly adapted to different usage profiles, from hard enduro riding to touring. Effective protectors for sensors, expansion tanks or headlight round off the selection. Ergonomics And, when it comes to ergonomics, the 890 Adventure can also be further upgraded with Touratech Parts. Comfort seats, which are available in three heights, ensure optimum long-distance capability. The Pivot Pegz articulated foot pegs, or wide long-distance foot pegs, and handlebar risers are excellent for off-road use, while the windscreen is a favourite with tour riders. Riders who don't like the Adventure's airy seat height will be thrilled by the 30 millimetre lowering of the suspension. Accessories Touratech also offers a huge range of accessories for the KTM 890 Adventure - from adjustable handlebar levers and a professional tool set through to support widening for the legendary kick stand - providing that little extra bit of riding enjoyment and practical benefit. With the Aventuro Carbon2 Plus, Touratech has introduced an extremely versatile helmet into its range, which features first-class performance from tough offroad use to sporty road tours. For the 2021 season, this quick-change artist has been given three crisp and fresh designs. Three new designs With its Core Plus, Sport Plus and Compañero Plus design variants, this successful Touratech all-round helmet enters the new season as the Aventuro Carbon2 Plus. The Core Plus design shows off the carbon fibres of the helmet shell to create a particularly impressive effect and, with its solid black, it synchronises with classic touring gear just as perfectly as it does with sporty offroad outfits. The Sport Plus design with its dynamic combination of the racing colours white, blue and red emphasises the sporting ambitions of its wearer. Riders of GS models or the Africa Twin are likely to identify with this fresh design, as are Yamaha fans with a soft spot for the rally team and its symbolic blue. And finally, the Compañero Plus design with its yellow, black and grey sections picks up on the colour schemes of the Touratech Compañero Rambler and Compañero Traveller touring suits so skilfully that it not only harmonises perfectly with these suits, but also sets attractive colour accents when worn in conjunction with other riding gear. Specific further development of the technical basis The Touratech Aventuro Carbon2 Plus can be easily converted without tools from a hybrid helmet to an enduro helmet or a street helmet. Its helmet shell, made entirely of carbon fibre laminate, combines the highest safety standards with minimal weight. The ECE certificate of homologation and the especially strict American DOT standards are proof of its outstanding protective function. The three different sized helmet shells guarantee that the ideal thickness of the EPS dome is maintained for each size. This allows for the enormous size range from XS to 3XL. A strap closure with double D-ring, and easy removability of the helmet in an emergency, thanks to emergency straps, complete the safety concept of the Aventuro Carbon2 Plus. To provide maximum comfort even on strenuous offroad stages, the Aventuro Carbon2 Plus has an exceptionally efficient and finely adjustable ventilation system. A sweat-inhibiting, removable and washable inner lining made of Coolmax makes it ideal for tough use. The anti-fog Pinlock visor with optimised operation and latching ensures the best possible visibility in all weather conditions. While the basic concept has remained untouched since the model was launched, the Aventuro Carbon2 Plus has undergone repeated detail upgrades throughout its evolution. For example, ventilation has been constantly improved, operability with gloves has been optimised, a new helmet shield has been developed for more favourable airflow and the chin strap has been made more comfortable. The Defensa is a new type of protector for handlebar fittings and hands. Made of high-strength aluminium, it offers superior protection. Its modular concept also allows adaptation to numerous motorcycle models and different conditions of use. Handlebar fittings are among the most vulnerable assemblies on a travel enduro. Even a harmless "topple over" can lead to breakage of the levers or - even worse - the fastening elements. Under these circumstance, further travel is not possible.
For this reason, hand protectors have become established equipment for off-road use. The widely used, open plastic trays, however, are not particularly helpful. Although these keep out the elements, they offer no appreciable protection against injury or damage of either hands or levers. Only closed protectors can withstand serious stresses. These have a bracket that is supported both near the mounting clamps and at the end of the handlebars, completely framing the fittings. This principle has proven itself in rally motorcycles under the toughest conditions.
High-strength forged aluminium construction
Touratech now goes one step further and has developed the Defensa protector, a hand and lever protector in a class of its own. This system consists of two screwed main components as well as a fitting set. By opting for a multi-part construction, the developers gained additional variation options to adapt the Defensa to the geometry of a wide range of handlebars and fittings. This means that the necessary space behind the protector can always be provided, enabling the levers to move freely. With the Defensa, the annoying tendency of the clutch lever in particular to hit the protector – as is often the case with universal products – is a thing of the past.
The strength of the construction is beyond reproach. The components of the Defensa are made of a high-strength, forged aluminium alloy, a proven material used in aircraft construction. With a frame thickness of up to 12.5 millimetres, the choice of dimensions is generous, whereby the issue of weight has not been forgotten. Precision manufacturing ensures excellent dimensional accuracy and therefore a precise fit. Due to the model-specific adaptation, tension-free installation is guaranteed as well as full steering lock.
Simple adaptation for on-road and off-road use
For pure off-road use, we recommend using the Defensa "Pure" version, where only the bracket is mounted. For mixed use, there is the Defensa "Expedition", which is equipped with a plastic wind deflector.
The plastic shell is slid over the main frame and clamped to the screw connection of the two aluminium components. If you need even more weather protection, you can also fit the "Extension" spoiler, which is available separately.
Whether off-road riding or touring, the Touratech Defensa offers reliable protection for handlebar fittings and hands.
The Touratech Defensa is available for BMW R 1200 GS (from 2013), R 1200 GS Adventure (from 2014), R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS Adventure, KTM 790 Adventure, Honda CRF 1100 L Africa Twin and Yamaha Ténéré 700. Further models are in preparation. Wind deflectors and spoilers are both available in white and black.

The Touratech Destino Touring 2 HDry technical motorcycle boot combines maximum touring comfort with field-tested robustness. Due to this concept, it is absolutely made for the versatile demands of adventure riders who like to spice up their tours with gravel stages. Thanks to the use of an advanced leather laminate, the latest generation has even better breathability. Leather laminate instead of membrane
The most important innovation in the latest version of this all-rounder has to do with moisture protection. While its predecessor still relied on the classic construction with a liner, in which the membrane is incorporated as a loose layer between the outer material and the lining, the Destino Touring 2 HDry is made using the name-giving, particularly high-quality HDry leather laminate. The advantages are obvious. Whereas the loose membrane in constructions with a liner is always subject to a certain amount of relative movement between the layers and the associated tensile and frictional forces, in the HDry leather laminate, the membrane and the outer material form an inseparable unity. No water can penetrate between the leather and the membrane, there are no seams prone to defects, and the stress on the membrane is distinctly lower. In addition to the significantly higher robustness, this leather laminate upgrades the Destino Touring 2 HDry, above all, through noticeably improved breathability.
Elaborate safety concept
In keeping with the motto "Never change a running system", the basic technical concept of the Destino Touring 2 HDry remains otherwise untouched. In other words: this boot features an elaborate safety concept, with a robust sole, protectors on the shin and ankle, a double layer of leather on the heel and forefoot, as well as heat protection on the inside of the leg. The triple fixation, using solidly screwed buckles, guarantees a secure fit. Certification according to the latest CE standard guarantees the safe-guarding effect of the protectors.
Practical solutions for maximum comfort
Although it is equipped with robust protectors, the Touring 2 HDry is extremely comfortable to wear. In addition to the waterproof and highly breathable HDry leather laminate, the Air-Pump insole contributes to a pleasant climate inside the boot by means of effective air circulation. Being able to open the shaft wide makes pulling it on and off particularly easy. When closed, however, the Touring 2 HDry is extremely slim, so that wearing it under trousers works well. The shaft width can be adjusted individually by means of Velcro fasteners and adjustable locking buckles. Flex zones ensure good ankle mobility.
A flat-cut forefoot area enables a good feel for the gear lever, while generous reinforcement of the area impacted when shifting gears protects the boot from abrasion. As a smart extra, the Touring 2 HDry, like all boots in the Destino family, has a pull out stainless steel cable to attach it securely to your motorcycle.
Wide range of sizes
The Destino Touring 2 HDry is available now in sizes 38 to 48. Further information can be found at shop.touratech.com
