Would you like to appear before millions of people around the world? The search is on for motorbike owner/riders with disabilities, and their bikes, to ride in the Stadium at the Paralympic Opening ceremony.

We are looking for a completely diverse collection of bikes and bikers, all with disabilities, and you would need to be available for the ceremony – 29th August 2012 - plus a few rehearsals immediately prior to the ceremony.  Because of security regulations at the stadium, you would also have to leave your bike with us for a few days before the ceremony, so this would need to be a bike that you do not use as a vital part of your daily life! You do not need to have any previous performance experience, but just the willingness to celebrate the diversity of modern Britain in an exciting moment in the Paralympic Opening ceremony.

If you are interested in being part of this once in a lifetime opportunity please email the following citing MOTORBIKES in the subject title to: [email protected]

1.       A photo of you and your bike.

2.       Your contact details (name, address, email, phone number).

We will then contact you directly if we would like you to be involved.

Closing date for applications is 21st February 2012.  You would then need to be available to visit us in East London by mid-March to give us ID and other details for security purposes.

This is a volunteer role; however, we can pay some travel expenses within London.
