Posted on
For the fourth successive year, more than one thousand motorcycle riders, all wearing something red, will assemble at the west bound Birch services on the M62 on Remembrance Sunday, 12th November 2017.
Departing at 1pm to make a ‘Ride of Respect’ completing a ‘Ring of Red’ clockwise around the M60 motorway and raising lots of money for Veterans’ charities. When viewed from the air the ‘Ring of Red’ will resemble a massive poppy around Manchester.
Bike Marshals North West will be overseeing the ride in conjunction with the Highways Agency and Greater Manchester Police
This ride is to raise money for Veterans' charities, with riders wearing something red, to form a 'virtual' red poppy around Manchester.
