The results - On the poll to find the favourite Biker Friendly Cafe in the

The poll ran from 27th September to 1st November 2017 - 12 noon.

Voting took place on THE BIKER GUIDE facebook group, via the pinned poll at the top of the page.

    www.facebook.com/groups/thebikerguide/

The poll took place on the facebook group for THE BIKER GUIDE, as the group has the facility for a poll and a tick count.

When we started this a few years back, we used to add all the votes up from comments, which as we are sure you can appreciate took a long time. By using the 'poll' facility on the group, it is easy for all to see the vote.

As stated, this is a poll as voted for by members of THE BIKER GUIDE facebook group, ran by THE BIKER GUIDE website.

We did look into running an external poll, however this meant people had to supply emails and register, by using the poll on the facebook group the only prerequisite is to be part of the group, with no personal details given.

We have lots of places popular with Bikers included on THE BIKER GUIDE website, from the south to the north of Great Britain, into Wales and to the Highlands of Scotland.

See THE BIKER GUIDE website for extensive listings.

  5. TV programme looking for Biker loving grandparents who want to spend more time with their adult grandchildren...

    Posted on

Shiver Productions are developing an exciting new television programme for a major broadcaster.

They are looking for vibrant, fun and outgoing grandparents who may be interested in the project. They are hoping that there are Biker loving grandparents out there who may want to spend more time with their adult grandchildren (who must be 18 plus).

With grandparents reportedly only seeing their grandkids on average twice a year, it is not surprising the two generations often know little about each others lives.

In ‘Gran Knows Best’, British grandparents will spend one-on-one time with their multiple grandchildren in an attempt to get to know them better and see if they can offer any help.

Along the way they will learn about the pressures their grandchildren face, the lifestyle choices they make, their hopes for the future and what, if anything, is standing in their way of achieving them.

The programme will allow grandparents to share their knowledge, advice and practical help while learning more about the lives, hopes and aspirations of their grandchildren.

They are looking for amazing families now, so if you are interested or would like more information or you know someone who may fit the bill – please call Karen on 0207 157 4588 or email on [email protected]
