The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power

This northern Goodwood FOS type event is a great place to meet up with motorsport friends and enjoy a weekend of fast, competitive action. The 3.2 miles circular track is highly respected amongst the competitors. Fans can see them with their Supercars leave the startline and be there as they return to the pits. CPOP is simply the best place to soak up the atmosphere amongst the drivers and mechanics with over 150 track entries from both cars and bikes the track has constant action each day.

Set in the stunning grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire. There will be classic motorcycle demonstrations and trade stands plus enthralling on-the-track action featuring parades, ride pasts and speed trials, where two wheelers tested each other to the limit on the Power and Speed circuit. On-site camping in parkland setting.

BMF launches debut bike show ‘Merlins and Motorbikes'

Those attending can expect to see bands and music, as well as more than 100 trade stalls which will sell everything from bike kit and helmets to clothing and sunglasses.

There will also be a bike jumble where visitors can pick up second hand parts, as well as a ‘best in show’ competition and several exhibitions available to experience. Taking centre stage will be an aerial display from The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight in two Spitfires and the ‘Great British Bike Off’, a 1,200-metre drag race between a motorbike and the Aero Legends Spitfire TD314.

Ride of Respect 2016

The Ride of Respect is an annual mass ride by motorcyclists to pay tribute both to our tri-service personnel and to the fallen and their families. 

Now in its seventh year, the Ride of Respect 2016 will ride 46 miles following the repatriation route of our fallen Heroes from Lyneham to the John Radcliff hospital passing through Royal Wootton Bassett. Raising funds for UKHomes4Heroes Pride & Passion, Bike Tours 4 the Wounded, Armed Forces Bikers, Army Benevolent Fund and Walking with the Wounded.

In 2012 the ride changed due to the service personnel now being repatriated via Brize Norton and since then has ridden through both Royal Wootton Bassett and Abingdon to Carterton. The ride will now alternate each year. 

Originally conceived in 2010 by two biker enthusiasts,(Julia Stevenson and Anne Cole), no-one envisaged the first ride through Royal Wootton Bassett would be the biggest mass ride in biking history, which saw over 22,000 bikers taking part and raising well over £150,000 for charity for the care of our heroes that had paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country. A day for saluting our troops has now been recognised. Registration, membership, merchandise and more available online. Join them to ‘Saluting Our Heroes’.

Loch Ness Rally

This run is the show piece of the club and is organised by the HCMC. The Loch Ness Rally incorporates a country run of about 75 miles in the scenic Loch Ness Area. There are Concourse categories (Veteran to Modern Classic) as well as Club Trophy Awards, a cash prize raffle, plus other small prizes to be won, and for those who want, a meal can be ordered for after the run. Well attended and estabshed (25+ years) with around 100 entries and a wide range of machines on show.

VMCC Banbury Run

Now in its 68th year, it is the largest gathering (500+) of pre-1931 motorcycles and 3-wheelers in the world and visitors will be able to see the motorcycles start and finish at the Museum. 

The Banbury Run is aimed at those who enjoy the thrill of riding with other Vintage, Veteran & Pioneer bikes. In addition to the Run, there will also be Club and Trade Stands, 100 Autojumble pitches and special interest displays within the Museum grounds. Camping is also available on the Saturday and Sunday night.

The Museum will be open from 9am – 5pm with the Banbury Run beginning at 10am. Riders will start at 5 per minute.

Bridge Rats MCC BBQ Summer Fundraiser

A Summer BBQ Fundraiser in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Charity number: 1084305. Heath Rugby Clubs bar will be open for you to use where a band is being organised by the Rugby club to play on the Saturday night to keep you entertained. A raffle will be held to boost our fundraising efforts on the Saturday night. Catering will be provided by Jimmy Chews who will be providing the BBQ for us this weekend, so all you need to do is bring your own beer and have fun! Breakfasts will also be available on the Sunday morning too. Raising funds for charity is from a % of profits from food being sold and activities. These donations are from the food van and those providing activities on the main day (Saturday).

Romney March Classic Motorcycle Show & Bikejumble

Large motorcycle-only Show for pre-1990 machines with Club stands and parades of show bikes. In response to popular demand, pre-1990 motorcycles are eligible to enter the show.
Guest of Honour Jim Redman MBE, Six Times World Champion and Six Times Isle of Man TT Winner. Jim is one of GPs most extraordinary characters, and a true legend of motorcycle racing. After migrating to South Africa, he started his racing career in the mid-fifties, and was awarded an MBE in 1964, the year that also saw him win three World Championships in a single day, a feat, to this day, matched only by Mike Hailwood. Meet Jim in the marquee, where he will be available for question and answer & book-signing sessions. He sold out of his autobiography at Ardingly in October 2015, so make sure you don't miss out!

Large indoor and outdoor Bikejumble with new and used spares, bikes, clothing & accessories for sale. Free BikeMart display-to-sell area for private vendors. Beer tent selling Real Ale and live music from local Rockers Tim Phillips & 1066 Rockitmen. Refreshments available, previous events featured local hog roast, toasty sandwiches and real coffee in addition to chips & burgers. A list of 24 waypoints spaced around the border of Herefordshire will be published two weeks before the event. Riders should plan and follow their route to visit as many of these points as they choose.
