Situated in the picturesque costal village of Runswick Bay, eight miles north of Whitby, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. In an enviable position, this family run large detached residence offers the quietness of a quaint old fashioned fishing village overlooking the beautiful sandy bay complete with rock pools, fossil hunting and jet finding.

A choice of lovely double, single and family rooms, some with roll top baths, on a B&B or room only basis. A Table d'hote menu is served Monday to Saturday from 6pm. All the meals are freshly prepared to order, using as much local fresh seasonal ingredients as possible. For breakfast; home-made preserves and breads and local Bacon, Sausage and (award winning) Black Pudding.

A short ride to Whitby, where popular tourist attractions include Whitby Abbey, the Dracula Experience and the Captain Cook Museum. Within easy distance to the historic city of York, Goathland, Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar and County Durham. Free Wi-Fi. Parking in the large garage by prior arrangement for up to 12 big bikes.

To the south of Whitby lies the village of Robin Hood's Bay which is a fantastic location for a day out at the beach, with the winding streets and alleys in the old village, a selection of pubs, shops and galleries as well as a beach which provides both sandy expanses stretching south to Ravenscar and thousands of rock pools to explore.
